How to care for your Furnace:
- Change furnace filters semi-annually (at least), depending on the potential work load on the furnace.*
- Change humidifier pads annually (at least). Again, depending on the potential work load on the furnace and the quality of the water supply, pads may need more frequent changing. These materials can only be obtained from businesses such as State Automatic.
- Have a 'Clean & Check' done annually to Winterize your furnace. This is best accomplished in the fall (beginning with the system's second winter season). This can be managed by your HVAC specialist by participating in our 'Preventative Maintenance' program, wherein your service needs will be monitored.
